Hi, my name is Joey.  Yep, just Joey.

Before I embraced coaching professionally, I was a preschool teacher.  There I held space for the children, acknowledging and encouraging them to feel all their feelings, and helping them set their own boundaries. So when I started my own coach training, the tools were all too familiar.  As rewarding as it was working with the children though, I realized adults need just as much acknowledging and empowering. I am here to empower you and teach you to say ‘no’ to others while saying ‘yes’ to yourself.

I’ll tell you how it’s worked for me.
For years I kept myself safe, building an invisible brick wall up around me.  It was doing its job until it wasn’t. I realized something needed to change.  While working with my own life coach, we slowly started to take down the bricks. She helped me see that the need to protect myself was based on limiting beliefs and old stories I had made up. Being coached was life-changing.  My transformation has been palpable and admired by friends and family.  My wish for everyone is that they too are confidently facing their fears and living their best life, filled with passion and purpose.

Recently I saw a video of a man with one leg riding a bicycle uphill. Let me repeat, he had one leg.
Do you think if he continually told himself “I’ll never be able to ride a bike with one leg” he would have been able to do it?
That is how powerful our mind can be: We think a thought. We choose to believe it. It becomes our truth.

Do you want to watch your bike collect dust, tormenting yourself with all the “what if’s?” Or do you want to have all the necessary tools to ensure a smooth journey, even when the course gets bumpy? As your coach, I can help you acquire those tools, giving you the confidence to ride past the doubt and negativity to successfully live your truth.
